High-quality reproductions in brown tone based on the realistic oil paintings by the Venetian veduta painter Bernardo Bellotto called Canaletto (1722-1780), who worked in Vienna around 1760. In addition to the well-known "Canaletto view" from the Belvedere, the pictures show views of Schönbrunn, several squares and churches in the city center: University square, Lobkowitz square, Freyung, new market, Schotten church and Dominikaner church, as well as the Liechtenstein Palace in Rossau and the Kaunitz Palace in Mariahilf.
