Red half-calf with gilded spine (around 1850) Pretty work with depictions of the inhabitants of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in their typical clothes. Among them hunters, soldiers, peasants, a fire-man etc, from Bohemia, Slovakia, Hungary, the Tyrol, Bukowina, Banat etc. - Nice, just minor browning, but clean, pretty binding, large bookplate of Wilhelm Herzog zu Braunschweig.
