Half-cloth around 1900 Early edition of this drama by Thomas (1625-1709), the younger brother of the more famous Pierre Corneille. With a nice engraving and some curious woodcuts the last of which at the end looks like a dog who relieves himself on a violin. Darius was first published in 1659.
