Bemerkung:

Mit einer Widmung der Mitarbeiter für Kaspar König. Einband leicht berieben. - In 2016 I established the Riga Biennial Foundation, a non-profit organisation with three main objectives: to provide a new global platform for international and Baltic artists; to create a robust contemporary art education program in Latvia; and to increase artistic engagement between the Baltic region and the rest of the world. RIBOCA was born from the Riga Biennial Foundation and is our first major initiative to date. My vision for the Biennial came from a desire to expose the international art world to the underrepresented artistic talent of Baltic artists. The Biennial aims to create a new platform for intellectual and artistic exchange in a region that is so diverse and multi-layered. Although Riga is of geographical importance to the cause, our effort to challenge conventional ideas and inspire discourse on topics that concern us all is best communicated through the universal language of art, stretching beyond any one physical location.
