circa 19,3 x 13,5 cm., 431; 450 pp.. Contemporary cloth with gilt spine Bruxelles edition in the same year as the fist edition printed in Paris in three volumes (the present one is complete in two). Auguste Marie Raymond, prince d'Arenberg (1753-1833), known mainly as comte de La Marck, served as an intermediary between Mirabeau and Louis XVI with Marie-Antoinette during the time after the French Revolution until the deat of Mirabeau in april 1791. This correspondance is a valuable source for the period.

- Armorial bookplates, minor browning, little spotting, mostly clean. The pretty bindings faded at the spine.
